Turnkey supply of a new lift-off cover type preheating system using gas-fired infrared burners, complete with three bases

The system uses special metal mesh radiant plaque
type burners which radiate onto the top surface of
collector bars.
 

FEATURES:

  • No. carbon blocks & collector bars: 4
  • System dimensions: 5m x 2.5m x 3m
  • Hood height: 1.2m
  • Burners: 16 metal mesh burners laid out in 4 rows, 1 row / collector bar
  • Total system rating: 310 kW
  • Heat-up cycle: ambient to 550°C in 100 minutes
  • Fuel: Natural Gas

BENEFITS:

  • +/- 10°C uniformity on the surface of the collector bars
  • 60-70°C gradient from top surface to bottom of collector bars
  • Virtually eliminates oxidation of carbon blocks
  • Reduces bending of collector bars during casting
  • Efficient heat transfer in infrared mode
